BOSS will be providing transportation to Soldiers who wish to volunteer for the TAPS event in Jacksonville on August 13-15. Lodging and food will be provided. Transportation will depart Garrison at 1430.

TAPS stands for Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.  TAPS provides comfort, care and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones. Registration Information

To register:

1) Create a mentor account on the TAPS org website: https://www.taps.org/mentors/2021/southeast

2) Once you've created your account, log back in and complete a background check release

3) After you receive a confirmation email of a completed background check, log into your account and register for the Southeast Regional Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp

4) Notify SGT Ash to reserve transportation to Jacksonville
