BOSS Commissary Walk

In cooperation with DECA and MEDDAC, BOSS will be conducting a Commissary Walk Through with a focus on healthy eating choices and affordable food options offered on post with a Sushi Cooking Class at the beginning. 

An introduction to the event will be conducted to introduce DECA Staff and MEDDAC Dieticians. DECA Staff will conduct a sushi cooking class with emphasis on how it can be prepared in the limited cooking options in the barracks. Afterwards we will break to go over the Healthy Eating Choice and affordable price signifiers that are in the commissary and have the dieticians go over what to gravitate towards and what to stay away from for physical fitness. The soldiers will be told the target price point to try to get as much healthy food within the allotted budget.

Soldiers will receive $15 to shop for themselves on the walk-through provided by BOSS and a SUSHI class!
