The Hays Library is celebrating Read Across America Week & our special Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash! Come and join us from March 6 to March 10, 2023, at 3:30 p.m.
Each day, the library will be presenting a special story time, full of crafts, activities, and games! On March 10, they will have gift bags and cupcakes available. Patrons can come in at any time during business hours on Friday to pick up a treat bag and cupcake. All daily prizes, crafts, and/or activities are on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
Hays Library will have the following themes/story time books for the week:
Monday, March 6: Horton Day
- Wear grey or elephants on your clothes!
- Story: Horton Hatches the Egg
Tuesday, March 7: Toothy Tuesday
- Get ready to show off those pearly whites! Wear a BIG Smile!

Wednesday, March 8: Wacky Wednesday

Thursday, March 9: Fox in Socks Day
- Wear your weirdest, most fun socks today!

- Wear your PJs!
